Factors Affecting Income Distribution Inequality

Uneven income distribution is a problem that affects many nations throughout the world, including Indonesia, and if it not remedied right away, process of economic progress will be slowed. This study examines relationship between growth agricultural sector, human development index, labor force participation rate, inflation in West Sumatra Province from 2007 to 2022. The Central Bureau Statistics (BPS) provided secondary data were utilised this study's quantitative methodology. Multiple linear regression technique used, processing application analytic tools are used. results analysis reveal while HDI, TPAK, variables have significant adverse impact on inequality, sector variables, as measured by GRDP data, positive impact.
